Practice Areas include: Real Estate and Business Law John Yonas received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from The Ohio State University College of Business in 1997. John received his juris doctor degree from The Ohio State University College of Law in 2000. After his graduation, John worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers, as a Tax Attorney and Consultant. At PricewaterhouseCoopers, John worked with a wide range of clients all the way from Fortune 500 companies all the way down to small entrepreneurs to implementing tax planning strategies. After leaving PricewaterhouseCoopers, John worked for Frost Brown Todd where he focused his practice on real estate and business law. In 2004, John formed Yonas & Rink, LLC Attorneys at Law and American Homeland Title Agency. John’s practice includes Real Estate, Business, Taxation, Estate Planning and Probate Law.

Practice Areas include: Real Estate and Business Law Martin Rink received his bachelor’s degree in political science from The Ohio State University in 2000. Martin received his juris doctor degree from The Chase College of Law in 2003. After graduation, Martin worked for a small real estate title company. In 2004, Martin formed Yonas & Rink, LLC Attorneys at Law and American Homeland Title Agency. Martin’s practice includes Real Estate and Business Law.
Practice Areas Include: Criminal and Family Law Jason Phillabaum graduated from the University of Kentucky with degrees in Math and Music. He went on to graduate Thomas M. Cooley Law School in only 2 ½ years. He started practicing law in 2000. After Law school Jason Phillabaum worked as an assistant prosecutor for nearly 11 years, involved in some of the most complicated cases in the County. Jason litigated over 100 jury trials and handled over 15,000 cases in the past decade.In addition to criminal and civil cases, Jason assisted many families in complicated and highly contested divorce and child custody matters. Jason has been very active in the community, serving as campaign manager for local political races, serving on various local boards, and serving as a volunteer for local events. Jason also provides legal analysis for local news reporters.

Jim Schroeder holds two master’s degrees and earned his Juris Doctorate from Rutgers University where he was both an Eagleton and Marshall Brennan Fellow. He has completed advanced training in nonprofit leadership at Duke University and Public Sector Labor Relations at Rutgers. Jim is a licensed attorney in Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey and the District of Columbia. He is a Kentucky Colonel and writes a column for the Brown County Press.
Practice Areas Include: Estate Planning, Business Law, and Employment Law. Kristen Schulz received her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from The University of Cincinnati in 2015. She went on to graduate from The University of Cincinnati with a master’s in business administration in 2016 and a juris doctor degree from The University of Cincinnati College of Law in 2019. During law school, Kristen was involved with the Entrepreneurship and Community Development Clinic, which assists small business entrepreneurs by forming LLCs, drafting employee contracts, and addressing other business matters. She was also a law fellow for the Ohio Innocence Project and interned at the National Labor Relations Board, where she worked on various employment matters including discrimination cases and employer-union disputes.
As a Sciences major attending The University of Cincinnati, Ellie took a part-time job at a law firm to help pay for school and realized her love for the legal world. Before accepting a position with Yonas and Rink in March of 2019, Ellie spent six years in Immigration Law working for Hammond Law Group and Musillo Unkenholt, where she focused on employment based immigration for healthcare and IT professionals. She currently works mainly for Jason Phillabaum, handling the OVI, Criminal Defense, and Domestic Relations cases.
Don Schille received his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Cincinnati in 2014 and his juris doctor degree from The Chase College of Law in 2018. While in law school Don interned for the Campbell County Prosecutor's office for a year and participated in the Chase College of Law Street Law program, which helps teach at-risk youths about the legal process. Upon graduation from law school Don interned with Katz, Teller, Brant & Hild in Downtown Cincinnati until being hired on as a law clerk at Yonas and Rink in April of 2019. Area of focus include Real Estate Law and Estate Planning.
